The origins of the ‘Monastery of Sevelt’, which has turned into a historical 5-star hotel in a class of its own, date back to the year 1516. The centuries-old structure of the building has been preserved in its original state and modern-day comforts have been added.

Gewölbesaal vaults hall The historical Gewölbesaal is the largest restaurant accommodating up to 200 people. The panoramic windows provide wonderful views of the pedestrian precinct and the Tyrolean mountains in the background. Experience a unique blend of culinary delights and a romantic ambience.
Ritter Oswald Stube restaurant The À la carte restaurant is the hotel’s gourmet zone and is suitable for parties of up to 90 people. From the very first moment you will be charmed by the warmth and cordial atmosphere. The 500-year old vaults along with the classy interior provide for a perfect combination of tradition and elegance.
Bräukeller restaurant Often considered as being rustic, the Bräukeller stands for typically Tyrolean ambience and accommodates up to 160 people. Experience Tyrolean culture and culinary specialities accompanied by live music.
Klosterhof courtyard Up to 200 guests meet for an aperitif in the Klosterhof courtyard while parties of up to 90 can enjoy dinner under starry skies, surrounded by the monastery walls and enjoying views of the house chapel.
Sun terrace The sun terrace is perfectly suitable for an aperitif or dinner, accommodating a maximum of 200 guests. The open-air terrace is located on the first floor of the hotel and offers breathtaking views of Seefeld and the mountainscape.
‘Die Kanne’ dance hall The legendary night club made the Hotel Klosterbräu famous in the 1960s and 1970s. Numerous international stars performed on its stage. Today, it features a modern light and sound system and is suitable for parties of up to 200 people. ‘Die Kanne’ provides the ideal location for an ultimate party experience with live music and shows after a festive banquet held in one of our restaurants. We will be pleased to arrange the dessert buffet for you and your guests at ‘Die Kanne’.
Emperor Maximilian parlour Located exclusively in the middle of the lobby, the Emperor Maximilian parlour offers the ideal setting for serving an aperitif with up to 100 guests or dinner for a maximum of 60. An unforgettable evening is guaranteed. Traditional wooden parlours surround the hall which can be separated from the lobby area on request. Wine cellar & heart-shaped ‘Herzerltisch‘ table Enjoy the unique atmosphere of the 500-year old wine cellar accommodating up to 40 guests for aperitif receptions or 2 to 14 people for dinner. The old cellar vaults, their history and pure tangible romance including 300 candles make for an unforgettable experience for both yourself and your guests.
‘Jägerkeller‘ The ‘Hunter’s Cellar’ has a capacity of up to 20 people and provides unique Tyrolean atmosphere. It is surrounded by monastic walls and decorated with typical hunting objects.
Hotel Bar Ideal for serving an aperitif with piano music for up to 150 people. The hotel bar has many cosy spots, next to the fireplace, for instance. You and your guests will be spoilt with live piano music and will be charmed by the view of Seefeld’s village centre.
House Chapel The chapel was founded by Cristina Seyrling as a special sign of love. Thanks to the centuries-old monastic vaults and frescoes, it offers today one of the most romantic ways of saying YES.
St. Oswald church The pilgrimage church dating back to the 13th century, consecrated to St. Oswald, is located in the centre of Seefeld. Due to the stream of pilgrims following the ‘host miracle’, Duke Frederick commissioned the expansion of the church in 1425, finished under Sigmund der Münzreiche (‘rich in coin’) in 1474. St. Oswald is among Tyrol’s most beautiful late Gothic church buildings. The wonderful tympanum relief along the main portal tells the story of the host miracle even today.
Seekirchl church The construction of Seefeld’s landmark, the Seekirchl (‘little church by he lake’), also called Heiligkreuzkirche (‘church of the holy cross’) was started in 1629 under Archduke Leopold V and finished in 1666. The little church is one of Tyrol’s rare octagonal Baroque churches with centralised architecture and a dome.
The centuries-old structure of the building with its up to 1.5m thick walls between the 98 rooms guarantees quietness and privacy.
The suites partly feature an open fireplace, a four-poster bed and bathrooms with genuine Swarovski crystals. On the way to your room along the wide former monastery corridor you are accompanied by frescoes up to 380 years of age, depicting Seefeld’s host miracle.
The monastic sauna and spa area, boasting and indoor and outdoor pool, steam bath, sauna, jacuzzi and a fitness room, provides for ultimate rest, relaxation and professional care. A range of monastic baths and treatments are offered.
