Pure winter fun – on about 262 km of cross-country trails in the Olympiaregion Seefeld, 152 km of classic trails and 110 km of skating trails.

The Olympiaregion Seefeld has been the venue for the Nordic competitions of the Olympic Winter Games twice, namely in 1964 and 1976. Today, the region, which is considered the Mecca of cross-country skiing, seeks to become the best cross-country centre in the world. The Seefeld cross-country trails are not only perfectly suited for pros and novices but also provide perfect training conditions for national teams. Here, you do not only experience the renowned Tirolean hospitality and excellent spa hotels but also a cross-country paradise which is constantly improving.

The most important facts about the cross-country trails and their levels of difficulty can be found on the many information panels around the cross-country and skating trails.

And all those who fancy indulging their cross-country passion in the evening as well, can do this from Monday to Saturday from 9pm on a three-kilometre floodlit trail between Seefeld and Mösern.

At the Ski Area of the Year 2005 competition organized by the German Ski Association (DSV), the Olympiaregion Seefeld was awarded the first prize in the Excellent Cross-Country Trails category among 232 world-renowned ski areas. Furthermore, the region was declared Europe’s best cross-country area by readers of the DSV magazine and the ADAC last year.
