NORDIC WALKING / WALKING

The Olympiaregion Seefeld enjoys an excellent reputation in the field of Nordic sports also during summer. Thanks to the elevation and the walking and Nordic Walking centre of excellence, which is planned to be founded, the region attracts sports enthusiasts from far and near. There is a choice of 15 walking and Nordic Walking routes with a length of about 140 kilometres.

Winter in Seefeld

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

Thanks to some 266 km of perfectly prepared trails for all levels of ability, Seefeld is considered Europe’s Mecca of cross-country skiing. After all, the region has been voted Europe’s best cross-country skiing area several times. The trails are located in the immediate vicinity and run right past our hotel.

SKIING IN THE OLYMPIAREGION

NIGHT SKIING AND FLOODLIT CROSS-COUNTRY TRAIL

For all those who would like to engage in sports activities also in the evening, the region provides many opportunities to choose from. The Rosshütte mountain railways offer night skiing several times a week. The heated chairlift with comfortable seats and weatherproof canopies allows you to warm up when going up the mountain. The lower part of the slope features a state-of-the-art floodlight facility. Cross-country skiers will be delighted about the floodlit night trail in Seefeld. (Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 7.30 to 9.30pm)

We will reserve the race slope, make the necessary arrangements for preparing and carrying out the race as well as for electronic timekeeping and take care of the professional scoring.
Zipfelbob Sled Race – Beat the mountain
A race everyone will enthuse about even after years! The venue for this event is the Gschwandtkopf slope in Seefeld. Every participant gets a Zipfelbob sled and goes up to the top station by chairlift. The lift ride provides time for viewing the course. 6 to 10 gates mark the way to the finish on the foothills of the Gschwandtkopf mountain. The absolute highlight of the event is the Le Mans-like start of all participants. Suitable for groups of at least 10 participants seeking the ultimate thrills in the snow.
Snow Golf Tournament
The very special winter experience for small and large groups. We will prepare a perfect snow surface for hosting a real golf tournament. Both experienced golfers and beginners can participate. The way the holes are arranged depends on the number of participants and on the weather conditions. A number of different tournaments with a maximum of 9 holes can be organised. An introduction for beginners, the organisation of the tournament, rental clubs and winter golf balls are included in our offer.

DURING SUMMER

Pirate Dream
Water-proof equipment and team skills are the basis of an exciting regatta on the self-made “company raft”. As soon as everything is securely tied up, the ride can begin. To reward the participants, a decent pirate’s party including a convivial feast will be hosted on the shores of one the countless Alpine lakes.

Hummer / Jeep Trophy
The teams take a seat in the cockpit of a brawny off-roader, equipped with an exclusive packed lunch and a detailed road book, and off they go! Along the course various tasks and challenges are waiting for the race drivers.

Rally
Road map with itinerary and checklist, emergency envelope with money and information on the destination, food. You are the pilot or the co-driver. Along the way you will encounter unusual obstacles. At the border, the border official will check the vehicle and the documents. After having been trapped by a speed camera, you will be read the riot act by a police officer who will then send you back to driving school for a few minutes for a refresher training.

James Bond GORGE Experience
The spectacular Karwendel railway is built right into the rock face. In 20 minutes it takes you from Seefeld to Hochzirl which is the starting point for a breathtaking hike to the gorge in the Karwendel conservation area.

Tree Climbing Competition
Equipped with a belt and a helmet as well as with a carabiner and a rope, the participants climb to lofty heights. Smooth movements, well secured – using the right technique you will climb the tree tops effortlessly.

Culinary Pasture Hikes
Hike to one of the numerous cosy pastures of the Seefeld mountains. There, we will prepare typical Tyrolean delights such as Melchermuas or a traditional Kaiserschmarrn. After a convivial get-together during which we will eat the self-made specialities, we will return to our point of origin, traversing lush-green meadows and enjoying marvellous views of the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains.

Preparation of Tyrolean Farmers’ Products
The aim of our hike to one of the rustic mountain huts is to make organic Tyrolean farmers’ products such as butter, cheese or jam ourselves. A farmer’s wife will give us valuable advice on how to properly prepare the delicious foods. With the self-made delicacies in our rucksacks, we will hike back to our point of origin.

Cross Golf and Mountain Golf Event
Cross Golf Events are ideally suited for groups of 10-60 people. Both first-time golfers and experienced players will be delighted about this special kind of golf. The terrain played on does not only include forests and meadows but also ski slopes which serve as pastures during the summer months.
A professionally prepared course and the breathtaking panorama of the Seefeld mountains provide for the perfect setting of this top-notch golf event.
