Love is younique.
Togetherness thrives on shared experiences.
Some call it commercial. Others reckon it’s a little too cheesy. But Valentine’s Day carries a simple truth: love deserves attention.
It’s true that love doesn’t need a special day to be celebrated. But it certainly deserves one. Every year, Valentine’s Day offers a gentle nudge: make time for the big feeling that so often has to shrink itself down to fit between meetings, errands, and the daily grind. It reminds us to be a little more generous with our scarcest resource: time together.
Here are three ideas to make your Valentine’s Day special – from small to spectacular. Enjoy!
1. A handwritten card
A heart emoji. A quick kiss on WhatsApp. Easy enough. But a handwritten card? That lands differently. If the thought of sitting before a blank page feels anything but romantic, start anyway. Your words needn’t be perfect – their honesty is what makes them precious. Tuck the note into your partner’s coat pocket. Or place it on the breakfast table at the Klosterbräu. Then watch the smile spread across their face. Or picture the moment, years from now, when that letter resurfaces in a drawer and the feeling returns, instantly. That’s lasting romance.
2. A winter walk for two
Perhaps the snowy forest is calling you instead. Get your boots on, the trail beckons. Within minutes, your steps find a shared rhythm. The snow muffles every sound to a gentle hush. The trees filter the winter sun, casting playful shadows across the path. Hands meet, glances linger, and you know: this moment belongs to us. No agenda. No pressure. Time becomes irrelevant. And when you return with glowing cheeks and tingling fingers, surprise your sweetheart with an exclusive glass of champagne in your suite. Your mobile? Still tucked away in your bag somewhere.
3. A very Private Spa session
Looking for something truly special? The Private Spa could be your personal sanctuary this Valentine’s Day. Reserved just for the two of you. Perfectly secluded. The door closes – and the world outside suddenly ceases to exist. Two massage tables await, side by side. Soft music settles over the moments like velvet.
That’s the magic of Valentine’s Day: it tells us to make time for moments that grow beyond themselves. Love deserves a special day. And the two of you? You deserve it even more. Or two days. Or three.
Here’s to love!
Dear Klosterbräu Family,
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to EVERYONE for the countless messages and the incredible outpouring of support. Please know that we are all safe.
At present, we are still in an orientation phase and in close coordination with authorities and partners. As difficult as it is for us to say: based on current information, we unfortunately will not be able to welcome you during the upcoming summer season. Our major goal, however, is to reopen the Klosterbräu at the beginning of December 2026. We are currently contacting all reservations that fall within this period. Thank you for your patience.
We are doing everything in our power—with full commitment, day by day—to make this possible. Over the course of the summer, we will be able to better assess whether this timeline can be met.
To stay closely connected with us, we warmly invite you to follow our latest updates via our WhatsApp channel, Instagram, Facebook, or by subscribing to our newsletter.
There is one thing we can say with full conviction:
Alongside the necessary reconstruction work, we will also bring our heartfelt projects to life—
including the expansion of the wellness area, a new natural swimming pond, new rooms, and the renovation of the existing spa.
Something new is being created—while at the same time preserving what lies at the very heart of the Klosterbräu.
Because we know:
What truly lives within the Klosterbräu cannot be taken by fire—rooted in its history, new beauty will rise from the ashes.
With warm regards
Your hosts
