Biodiversity – you can't do without nature. In the course of this year's expansion of the Karwendel Nature Park and the application for the Austrian Eco-label for Destinations, the Seefeld region is planning its own programme for ambitious accommodation establishments: the PLATEAU PIONIERE. And we are part of it! For example, at the beginning we determine climate-specific data of our business in order to formulate concrete measurable goals, such as plastic avoidance, heat recovery, improved waste management, and to be able to take effective measures.

Truly sustainable
A hotel alone does not make a decisive difference. But an entire region, with over 1,700 businesses, does. The tourism association Region Seefeld - Tyrols Hochplateau has committed itself to the "ECHT.NACHHALTIG" concept. We are a pilot region for the whole of Austria and are developing concepts that will then be transferred to other tourism associations.
