Diary full? Head full too? On 1 December 2026, the Klosterbräu reopens with a space that feels entirely your own: an adults-only sauna house with a relaxation room. Plus a 50-metre natural swimming pond.

Good news for anyone longing for a little time to themselves: the Klosterbräu will reopen on 1 December 2026. New to the spa are an adults-only sauna house with a relaxation area, as well as a 50-metre natural swimming pond. Both are designed entirely for adults.

The sauna house: From A to Zen
A sauna house with its own relaxation room has been on our wish list for some time. Now the idea has four walls, a roof, and a panoramic view. Wood, clean lines, and soothing warmth draw your attention to what matters most: relaxation. A place for mindful breaks – calm, refined, and intensely restful. The sauna house adds a peaceful new retreat to our spa, while the relaxation room helps that sense of well-being linger. Time that’s yours and yours alone.

The natural swimming pond: Agnes’s labour of love
The natural swimming pond is close to Agnes Seyrling’s heart. Fifty metres long, it lies right next to the new adults-only spa and forms part of our 150,000 m² Garden of Eden. A place to breathe deeply, unwind, and take a dip. Floating peacefully on your back is expressly permitted: you alone set the pace.

Two new additions, one family
For more than 500 years, the Klosterbräu has been a place where guests can feel at ease, and the Seyrling family has looked after it for generations. The addition of the sauna house and natural swimming pond gives our spa two glorious new spots that pair peace with pleasure and carry the Klosterbräu spirit forward.
