New Year’s Eve in Seefeld: where village life meets hotel magic

Celebrating the New Year on holiday at the Hotel Klosterbräu

Around New Year’s Eve, Seefeld reveals its most festive side: Christmas market stalls beckon in the pedestrian zone, lights twinkle in the spa gardens, and at the Hotel Klosterbräu, you toast the arrival of the New Year with a Champagne aperitif, gala dinner, live entertainment, and fireworks.

In the Seefeld region, people don’t just celebrate the turn of the year – they create a full-blown spectacle, complete with mountain backdrops, shimmering lights, and music.

Setting the scene: Seefeld’s Magic of Lights

Seefeld’s Magic of Lights transforms the spa gardens, pedestrian zone, parish hill, Seekirchl church, and Olympic swimming pool into a winter wonderland. Before the main event – whether that’s the village’s big New Year’s Eve party or a quieter countdown with friends – wander through the illuminated lanes and soak up the atmosphere. Every corner feels like a scene from a holiday film.

New Year’s Eve Klosterbräu style

At the Hotel Klosterbräu, the YOUNIQUE New Year’s Eve celebration kicks off in style: you’ll raise a glass of Champagne at the aperitif reception before settling in for a gala dinner in one of the hotel’s restaurants. The hotel bar pulses with dance and party music, while DJ Mox keeps the energy high at the “Kännchen” nightclub.

Families can relax knowing the little ones are well looked after, with children’s entertainment including a magic show and activities until 11:30 p.m. After that, the evening shifts up a gear with a live show programme and a spectacular fireworks display in the Garden of Eden. As midnight strikes, a lavish buffet featuring oysters and snacks is served in the courtyard.

On New Year’s Day, a leisurely late-riser brunch gives you the perfect excuse to ease into the new year, linger over coffee, and reminisce about the night’s highlights.

New Year’s Eve in the heart of Seefeld

Just beyond the hotel, the village centre joins in the festivities. Seefeld’s big New Year’s Eve party gets underway from 7 p.m., with a DJ spinning the best New Year’s bangers, classic favourites, and current chart hits – guaranteed to get everyone in the spirit.

For this special evening, the Christmas market stalls remain open, serving punch, mulled wine, regional snacks, and sweet treats. Guests and locals celebrate together, right in the heart of the village, with those magnificent mountain views still framing the scene.

Our tip: Pair your New Year’s Eve in Seefeld with a few extra days’ holiday at the Hotel Klosterbräu. You’ll have time for wellness, winter activities on the high plateau, and perhaps the most worthwhile New Year’s resolution of all: giving yourself a bit more time. Dear Klosterbräu Family,

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to EVERYONE for the countless messages and the incredible outpouring of support. Please know that we are all safe.

At present, we are still in an orientation phase and in close coordination with authorities and partners. As difficult as it is for us to say: based on current information, we unfortunately will not be able to welcome you during the upcoming summer season. Our major goal, however, is to reopen the Klosterbräu at the beginning of December 2026. We are currently contacting all reservations that fall within this period. Thank you for your patience.

We are doing everything in our power—with full commitment, day by day—to make this possible. Over the course of the summer, we will be able to better assess whether this timeline can be met.

To stay closely connected with us, we warmly invite you to follow our latest updates via our WhatsApp channel, Instagram, Facebook, or by subscribing to our newsletter.

There is one thing we can say with full conviction:
Alongside the necessary reconstruction work, we will also bring our heartfelt projects to life—

including the expansion of the wellness area, a new natural swimming pond, new rooms, and the renovation of the existing spa.

Something new is being created—while at the same time preserving what lies at the very heart of the Klosterbräu.

Because we know:
What truly lives within the Klosterbräu cannot be taken by fire—rooted in its history, new beauty will rise from the ashes.

With warm regards

Your hosts
