Since July 2023, we have been filling the Reitherjoch Alm hut with life. Learn more about our little gem on the sunny side of the Karwendel mountains.

Once a refuge for local shepherds, the Reitherjoch Alm hut now invites hikers and skiers to enjoy a break to relax and refuel!
We, the Seyrling family, have been the proud managers of the hut and mountain pasture since July 2023. It is idyllic up here at 1,500 metres above sea level. Nestled between meadows and forests and with a breathtaking view over the high plateau and down into the Inntal valley, the Reitherjoch Alm hut is the perfect destination for a hike or bike ride. The idyllic environment has become home to some inhabitants of “Sigi’s Sauhaufen”, our petting zoo, where the animals have found a place to thrive.
The hut is also open in winter. So, make the most of your winter holiday in Seefeld, Austria. Skiing or snowshoeing, you decide your mode of transport. Once you’ve reached the Reitherjoch Alm, you’ll find yourself immersed in the finest mountain hut charm: Tyrolean delicacies, cosy gatherings around the fireplace, and casual beats from our DJ every Wednesday.
For those interested in a more leisurely ascent, the mountain hut is also accessible by cable car. We look forward to your visit!
